Technology Center Computer Lab, 2nd Floor

The computer lab is the largest lab in the Library with a total of 38 PC stations. Login with your Library card number and PIN (Last 4 of your phone number) to use a computer; guests can request a one-time guest pass.  Computers are available on a first come, first serve basis. Technology librarians and staff are available to assist with technology or computer questions.

Scanners & Scanning

  • 1 scanning station with a bed scanner (A3 Bookedge Scanner FB6280E) & multi page scanner (Sheetfed Scanner AD240).
    • Max scanning area 17" x 22" (for larger image reproduction, see the 2D Art Digitizer in the Makerspace).
  • 1 Copier with a bed scanner and multi-page scanner, accessible with a Loveland Public Library card.

 

Accessible Stations

  • 2 ADA stations with adjustable height desks, 24" touch screen computers, and large font/cursors.
  • Station #2 includes:
    • Braille printer/embosser
    • JAWS soft
    • Dragon Naturally Speaking software
    • Zoom Text software

 

Supplies for Purchase

  • Earbuds – $2 (+ sales tax)
  • 16GB USB/Flash Drives – $5 (+ sales tax).

 

Usage Expectations

  • Please eat food and drink outside of the computer lab.
  • Use earbuds/headphones for audio.
  • Keep phone calls that require the use of a computer very brief and quiet.
  • Phone calls that do not require the use of a computer should be taken outside the lab.
  • This is a shared public lab with many individuals working. Be courteous of those around you and respect your neighbor's space and privacy.
