Propose a Program
The Loveland Public Library strives to inform, enrich and inspire a strong, engaged community. We welcome program proposals from the community to help further that mission.
Program Guidelines
- Programs must be free and open to the public.
- Products or services are not to be sold during Library presentations. Exception would be an author speaking about a published work.
- Program presenters agree to follow Loveland Public Library policy.
- Programs should enhance the Library's mission.
- Payment for programs typically ranges from free to $100. In negotiating fees, we consider the size of audience, materials required, and the relevance to our mission.
- All presenters will be required to sign a contract with the City of Loveland, as well as financial documents if there is payment. These will be provided once a presenter is booked.
- The Library reserves the right to take photographs of programs for its own promotion and records.
Timeline
- Programs are scheduled 3-6 months in advance of the presentation date. Please keep this in mind when proposing your program.
- Due to the high volume of proposals the Library receives, we cannot individually respond to every proposal. If you program is of interest, you will be contacted by a member of Library staff.
Interested in reserving a meeting room instead?
The Loveland Public Library has meeting rooms available for reservation. If you are not interested in a program co-sponsored by the Library, but need a place to meet with your group, that is a great option!
