Monthly Kids Craft Kits
Each month make a craft at home! How to participate: Watch the craft video tutorial on the Library's Facebook or Youtube and pick up your Kids’ Craft supply kit from the library, while supplies last, starting the 1st of each month (or the next day the library is open).
Weird Stuff to Checkout!
The Loveland Public Library doesn't just have books (which is totally awesome, of course) but we also have some "weird" stuff to check out! Children's Services has:

Kids 365 Learning Challenge
Exploring new things is easy when you take the Kids 365 Learning Challenge! Do you have what it takes? Grab a log each month from here or from the library. Every time you beat the challenge you get a SWEET prize!
Community Resources
Colorado Talking Book Library
A free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical, or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides audio, Braille and large-print books and magazines.
Every Kid in a Park
Fourth Graders and their families can get a pass for free entry to our National Parks for one year.
Juvenile Sequels and Series
This is a great resource when you need to find the title of a sequel or the next book in a series.
Northern Colorado Reading Initiative
The Mission of Northern Colorado Reading Initiative is to advocate for parents, educate parents about reading disabilities, connect parents with local resources for early diagnosis of reading disabilities, and connect parents with capable interventionists.
Homeschool Support
The Loveland Public Library has many resources available for homeschooling families, including various reference materials, magazines, books and DVDs to support and reinforce teaching. We also offer an iMake lab, spaces for tutoring or school work, internet computers for ages 10 and under (and two parent stations), and databases which are available in the library and from home. The Treehouse
Kids in 3rd-5th grade or ages 8-10 years old (tweens) now have their own space in the library!
Visit the Treehouse- Any time that the library is open stop by "the treehouse" where you can meet other kids, explore cool materials, pop onto a computer, or participate in a FUN event!
