The Loveland Public Library Board has an opening for one high school student to serve as a board member for the 2019-2020 school year. Participation will officially begin September 2019, however, the chosen candidate will be encouraged to participate beginning in May 2019. The Application Deadline is May 5, 2019.
The Loveland Public Library Board is an official board created to advise the City Manager, Library Director, and City Council on issues concerning library services in the Loveland community. The Loveland Public Library Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in the Library Board Room on the second floor of the library. Loveland Public Library board members may also participate in training workshops and outreach events throughout the year.
To be eligible for the Loveland Public Library Board the applicant must be a high school student under the age of 21 and a resident of the City of Loveland. The applicant must have an interest in information technology, literacy and/or community leadership. The term is for one school year. The high school student member may be excused from board meetings and activities during school breaks.
