Free Wi-fi Now Available in Parking Lot
The Library is providing free WiFi access outside of the building that allows the public to access a high-speed internet connection on their mobile device such as a laptop, tablet or phone from their vehicles or while socially distancing outdoors. The Wi-Fi connection will be available daily from 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Technology Center Appointments Now Available
The Loveland Public Library 2nd floor Technology Center will be reopening with limited access on Monday, June 15. Patrons will be able to make a reservation for a 45 minute appointment by calling (970) 962-2586, texting (970) 239-8989, or reserving online. Patrons will enter through the main entrance during their appointment times.
45 minute appointments may be scheduled between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Access to the building will be limited to the 2nd floor Technology Center including the Computer Lab, Classroom and Makerspace. 10 a.m. appointments will be reserved for vulnerable individuals (click here for CDC guidelines on vulnerable individuals or click here to read the State of Colorado executive order defining vulnerable individuals). Limited walk-in sessions may be available on a first come, first served basis.
To protect the health of patrons and staff, and to comply with the Larimer County Health Department requirements for reopening:
- Staff and patrons aged 10 and up are required to wear face coverings when inside the building
- Staff and patrons must monitor their health and adhere to the CDC health recommendations for monitoring symptoms including temperature and cough
- For proper distancing between computer terminals, only a limited number of public computers will be available
- Staff will disinfect computers, seating other surfaces between sessions
- Patrons will only be allowed on the 2nd floor and must remain at least 6 feet from others, excluding family groups
- Hand sanitizer will be available

In addition to the wide range of virtual library services, library staff remain available to answer questions, recommend reading and viewing materials and help you navigate through all the information, resources and technology that you may need as you remain “Safer at Home.”
Looking for the next book by a favorite author, a new video by a favorite director or need some help downloading an audiobook to your digital device? Our skilled, friendly and capable staff will work with you to get you what you need. Our Children’s and Teen Librarians can assist with materials to support learning from home, as well as sharing ideas for activities, crafts, science experiments or a good family film to enjoy.

Requests for Curbside Delivery
Please call or text ahead to let us know you’re on your way
Monday – Saturday, 10am-3pm
If you need help selecting materials to pick up during our curbside delivery hours, our staff are available to take requests by author, title, genre or age/reading level and will scour our shelves to find a selection of materials we hope will satisfy your needs and delight your family members. Call, chat or email us and we will respond as soon as possible and arrange a time for you to come and pick up your materials starting on Friday, May 1.
If you have materials you would like to checkout from the library, please place a “hold” request on the Library’s website for up to ten items. As these items are available, you will be notified via email or text and can then arrange for pick up at the library’s front doors where a library staff person will be available for pick up assistance (from a safe distance).
