Ancestry.com

**No remote access, USE IN LIBRARY ONLY**
The Library offers in-house access to the Ancestry.com database. This service offers genealogical records from across the globe and millions of family trees, includes; U.S. Census 1790-1940, Immigration, Military and Birth/Marriage/Death Records.

Colorado State Archives

The Colorado State Archives is the legal repository for selected historical and contemporary records and information generated by state and local governments in Colorado. The Colorado State Archives has a wealth of information for research and reference. They will respond to mail and phone requests but suggest that you conduct any extensive research at their facility whenever possible because of the voluminous nature of their collections.

Family Search

This is the worlds largest collection of free family history and genealogy records from over 100 countries. It also offers a way to share you genealogy research, take classes, and provides free help as well. You can also volunteer to help with indexing the records.

Larimer County Genealogy Society has lots to offer for new and experienced genealogists. Their website includes many research and learning aids for their members and visitors. They also have monthly meetings and trainings on how to do genealogy research.

National Archives Genealogy Research

This site is sponsored by the National Archives. It is designed to link you to United States Records that have been digitized by the National Archives. In addition, it provides how to guides and links to additional resources.

The primary purpose and function of RootsWeb.com is to connect people so that they can help each other and share genealogical research. Most resources on RootsWeb.com are designed to facilitate such connections. This is a free resource offered through the internet.

World Vital Records

Tens of millions of historical family history records, including US and UK censuses; birth, marriage, death, and military records; tombstone photos; and more. This genealogy resource is available from your home with a Loveland Public Library card.
