Greg McDonald, Regional Paleontologist for the Bureau of Land Management, will share recent fossil discoveries of giant ground sloths, and other Ice Age animals, deep within the submerged caves and cenotes of Central America.

The group meets in the Library's Erion Room on the first Tuesday of each month at 9 AM and 6:30 PM and on the following Wednesday at 9 A.M.
The Library owns at least 10 copies of each title and additional copies are available through Prospector.

Join the Library's tatting group to learn the lost art of tatting. Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops, also know as "pearling" and "wrap weaving".
Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, necklaces, bracelets, and other decorative pieces.

Families are invited to participate in a storytime in various parks around Loveland. Starts at 11:00 and is geared to ages 3-8 years old with a weekly theme. Please look for the blue library flag near a shady spot in the park. NO MONDAYS this summer.

We cater to the youngest child with Lapsit activities, fingerplays, songs, and of course, books! Repetition is important at this age, so some of the songs and fingerplays we do are the same each week, to give the babies some familiarity with our activities. Bubbles are always a closing time favorite. Meets Mondays at 9, 10, & 11am and Thursdays at 9:00am and 10:00am .

Free and drop in, all ages are welcome, the books and activities we use are usually geared for ages 3-8 years old. We do a mix of activities depending on our theme, and every once in a while Miss Lolly throws in some yoga to keep us stretched and breathing.
