Join the Library's tatting group to learn the lost art of tatting. Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops, also know as "pearling" and "wrap weaving".
Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, necklaces, bracelets, and other decorative pieces.

Families are invited to participate in a storytime in various parks around Loveland. Starts at 11:00 and is geared to ages 3-8 years old with a weekly theme. Please look for the blue library flag near a shady spot in the park. NO MONDAYS this summer.

We cater to the youngest child with Lapsit activities, fingerplays, songs, and of course, books! Repetition is important at this age, so some of the songs and fingerplays we do are the same each week, to give the babies some familiarity with our activities. Bubbles are always a closing time favorite. Meets Mondays at 9, 10, & 11am and Thursdays at 9:00am and 10:00am .

The Larimer County Genealogical Society volunteers offer one-on-one help every Thursday afternoon in the library's genealogy area. They will assist you with getting started or those hard to find relatives.

Children 6 - 11 years play the fun Zirkel Reading Game with their trained Buddy Reader. Child chooses a book, rolls dice and moves around a board game while having conversation about reading with Buddy Reader. Reading strategies are practiced in an interactive, engaging way, especially for reluctant readers.

A club for kids who are entering 1st-5th grade. Drop your kids off in the GSMR for an hour of fun activities from Rocks to Robots to Rock and Roll!
Younger kids can attend family storytime in the reading room at the same time.
