Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops, also known as "pearling" and "wrap weaving".
Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, necklaces, bracelets, and other decorative pieces.
Beginners welcome at the Wednesday morning meetings.
Supplies needed: 2 shuttles (removable bobbin recommended), 2 balls of #3 or #10 cordonnet thread (2 colors recommended).
