Remembering World War I: World War I and Classical Music

Thursday, November 8, 2018 -
6:30pm to 8:00pm

Join the Loveland Public Library as it celebrates the centennial of the World War I Armistice with a series of events.

Our third event is World War I and Classical Music. Jim Found has created a special program centered around classical music associated with World War I. Mr. Found will examine how musicians responded to World War I. He will guide the audience through how music changed from the beginning of the war to its end. There will be a variety of pieces played from early patriotic tunes to the pieces that reflect the dissonance felt by people.

Mr. Found is the host of the monthly symphony program at the library. He is also a high school music teacher.
