Poetry Reading: Everyday Raptures with Lisa Zimmerman

Lisa Zimmerman earned her M.F.A. at Washington University in St. Louis. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Natural Bridge, Florida Review, Poet Lore, Cave Wall, and many other journals and anthologies. She has published three poetry chapbooks and three full-length collections, most recently The Light at the Edge of Everything (Anhinga Press) and The Hours I Keep (Main Street Rag). Her poems have been nominated four times for the Pushcart Prize. Lisa is an associate professor at the University of Northern Colorado and also a coach for Poetry Out Loud, the national high school recitation contest. She lives in Fort Collins.

National Poetry Month events are sponsored by the Northern Colorado Chapter of the Columbine Poets, the Metaphors, the Writing Lab, and the Friends of the Loveland Public Library.
