The Emperor and the Nightingale, David Mullikin
David Mullikin is well-known for his story-pieces with small ensemble and story-teller. He was a cellist with the Colorado Symphony and active in their Music Education Department. In 2002 he was named by the Music Teachers’ National Association as the MTNA-Shepherd Distinguished Composer of the Year. His story-pieces are written for children from pre-K through early grade school. Parents enjoy them too!
