Eremotherium Bones and the Cenote of Doom: Adventures in Underwater Paleontology

Tuesday, July 10, 2018 -
6:30pm to 8:00pm

When you think of a paleontologist searching for fossils, do you think of finding them in hot arid badlands devoid of plants? Greg McDonald, Regional Paleontologist for the Bureau of Land Management, will share discoveries of giant ground sloths and other animal fossils (dating back to the Ice Age) in submerged caves and cenotes deep within the tropical jungles of America.
