2018 4th Annual Día de los Muertos: A Cultural Celebration

Join us for our 2018 4th Annual Día de los Muertos: A Cultural Celebration on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the Loveland Public Library. Events will take place in the Galleria, various meeting rooms, and Adult, Children's, and Teen departments. Our celebration will feature a colorful and rich experience of Mexican tradition, including music, dance, food, crafts, and commemoration.

• Dr. Genie Canales, guest speaker
• Mariachi singer Azanet Rodriguez
• Sugar skull decorating, face painting, and family activities
• Traditional Aztec dance with Danza Azteca Aquetzalli
• Traditional Mexican Food
• A short film, La Fuerza Interna by José Chalit, as a continuous screening in the Erion Room. La Fuerza Interna focuses on the organizing efforts of the independent farmworker union Familias Unidas por la Justica and their struggle to earn a union contract with their employer, Sakuma Farms.
